2011 Scholarship Winners!
The Zonta Club of Jamestown offers 4 scholarships and one award every year to area woman continuing their education. Two scholarships are provided through the Chautauqua Reginal Community Foundation. They are the Anne Crowe Scholarship and the Verna Nelson Scholarship. $1,000 were given to each of the three scholarship winners: Brandi Storer and Kathryn Helfrich received the Anne Crowe Scholarship. Kathryn has just completed her BS in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She lives in Bemus Point. Laura Hunter received the Verna Nelson Scholarship. $1,000 will be given to each of the recipients of the following awards/scholarship: Emily Smith from Lakewood received the Young Woman in Public Affairs Award, Rebecca Gregory from Jamestown received the Nell Newton Scholarship, and Natalie Burns from Falconers received the Mary Bargar Scholarship.
